P. Agnes has recently started construction on two projects for Drexel University in Philadelphia. The first of the two projects is taking place for Drexel’s College of Medicine (CoM) and features the removal and replacement of three roofs on Drexel’s Queen Lane Campus. The project is anticipated to complete in December of this year.
The second project involves the construction of the foundation to secure an air supported structure over three tennis courts at Drexel’s Vidas Athletic Complex. The project also involves coordinating the connection of the MEP systems and installing retaining walls. The Vidas Complex houses all of Drexel University’s varsity sport fields including 12 tennis courts on the western edge of the complex. This project is expected to complete by the end of October, 2019. A rendering of the completed Vidas Air Supported Structure is featured below.
P. Agnes is proud to continue our relationship with Drexel University, which dates back to our first project with them in 1999, the Caneris Hall Dormitory project. Since then, we have worked on dozens of projects with Drexel, including everything from small renovation projects to construction of multi-million facilities like the Edmund Bossone Research Center. P. Agnes also partners with Drexel University in other ways, regularly hiring Drexel Graduates and endorsing their incredible co-op program.
