As of early January, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors of Jefferson Health’s new Navy Yard facility were officially occupied, marking the end of the first phase of this project.
Phase 1 covered approx. 85% of the project and included a 50,000 sf renovation to expand Jefferson’s outpatient services in the building. The 2nd & 3rd floors are comprised of multidisciplinary clinics including Primary Care, Women’s Services, Dermatology, Physical Medicine, Rehabilitation, Pain Management & Neurology. The 4th floor includes non-hospital department functions including a Medical Specialties and Oral Surgery suites. Existing elevators were also replaced as part of this phase.
The remaining scope for this project consists of renovations to a portion of the 1st floor (10,000 sf). Outpatient services in this area will include Audiology, Imaging (X-Ray, MRI, Ultrasound & CT) and Phlebotomy. A monumental stair from the main atrium to the 2nd floor will also be installed in this phase. The Jefferson Health – Navy Yard project is anticipated to complete in July of 2019
