Recently, Talk Radio 1210 WPHT Philadelphia aired an exclusive interview with P. Agnes CEO Pat Pasquariello for their Growing Greater Philadelphia program. In a conversation with Matt Cabrey, the Executive Director of Select Greater Philadelphia, Pat discussed everything from the founding of the company by his grandfather Pellegrino Agnes in 1918 to the future challenges facing the construction industry.
Pat spoke to P. Agnes’s experience in the Healthcare sector, mentioning that the emergence into that market was one of his initiatives when taking over the company.
He also had a chance to discuss his involvement in the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House, a relationship that started with P. Agnes providing construction management services, and eventually lead to Pat helping the Ronald McDonald house with an incredibly successful fundraising effort by reaching out to the many building trades associated with the project for donations.
Lastly, Pat took the opportunity to discuss the importance of diversity not only to P. Agnes, but in the construction industry in general. He emphasized the importance of education, building an understanding and an interest in the industry at an early age so that young people in the Greater Philadelphia community are prepared to capitalize on the many opportunities companies like P. Agnes have to offer.
